Your challenges

  • Lead a team of data & analytics specialists, ensuring the CoE possess the necessary expertise (e.g., data analysis, data science, business intelligence) to deploy organization-wide.
  • Introduce and showcase Data Office products and services to the broader organization, emphasizing their value and benefits
  • Collaborate and provide support on complex data-related challenges, initiatives, and projects. * Establish and manage an organization-wide community of practice in the field of data.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data literacy program to educate and upskill employees and install a culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • 10 years of working experience, of which at least 3-5 years in a similar or relevant role
  • Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. * Change management expertise, facilitating organizational transformation and adaptation.
  • Ability to promote a data-driven culture and enhance data literacy within the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

What will you do in this position?

As the Lead Center of Excellence in the newly established KPMG Data Office, reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer, you will lead a team of data & analytics specialists. The role is responsible for developing and implementing practices to support, enable and collaborate with the organization. You will do this by leading the specialized team and ensuring that the necessary expertise (e.g., data analyst, data scientist, business intelligence specialist) is in place. Organization-wide, this expertise can be deployed to work on complex and challenging data-related issues, initiatives and projects. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a data-related community of practice, in which colleagues from across the organization can come together to share knowledge, among other things. Besides, there will be focus on developing a data literacy program, leveraging CoE expertise to educate and upskill our people. With your thorough and extensive knowledge, you will serve as a go-to person for D&A topics and questions, not only within the Data Office but throughout the entire organization.
